An excellent remix package with loads to choose from. Norman Doray's remix is a big room party banger packed full of energy. Soaring high with intense build-ups and a killer vocal, it's pure hands up in the air material. Essential.
JOHN DAHLBACK - Kairo (Mutants)
Dahlback's label goes from strength to strength, and this is no exception. Massive electro riffs pan left and right as beats bash the floor on a furious collision course with peak-time pleasure. Big.
THOMAS GOLD - Agora (Size)
Pumping' beats, tech percussion and electro chords filter in. Gold builds the tension by dropping the beat out while raising the riff higher and higher. By the time the beats comes back in the dance floor will ignite. Explosive stuff.
BAHAR CANCA AND MATT WILLIAMS - Think Twice (Sub Bubble)
Three top mixes from the Wembley crew, Channel X's Remix is magic. A deep bass groove, nice pads accompanied by orchestrated strings to add a little disco flavour. Matt's warm and silky vocal completes the soulful groove. An Ace on centre court...

Tech house is high on the menu this week with this superior serving of Detroit. Tribal percussion fills with a deep bass groove and hypnotic chords build forming what becomes a beautiful journey.
An excellent package of prime time techno from the talented Irishman, made all the more intense with the inclusion of Gary Beck's Remix Tool 1 . A dark slab of euphoric techno which pounds the floor relentlessly. This, as the saying goes is a case of... empty vessels make the most noise.
This very special compilation has the finest examples of deep techno. The boys from Buenos Aires shifted their digs for the summer months to be inspired by the Berlin scene. The standout track for me in this epic collection is Paul Brtschitsch’s Adiamo -Analogue warmth is released through vintage tech loops and plays rich.
Holland is fast becoming an institution for quality house music as you'll find here. Fresh from releasing tunes on Carl Craig’s Planet E label Jerome & Jamie fuse the energy of Detroit with the subtleties' of house resulting in twisted melodies and hypnotic grooves.
Available on vinyl as well digital suggests the intended dance floor might be a bunker, where the one’s and two’s spin as sweat becomes a cloud of mist by 1am. Ironically entitled Whisper is dark thumping techno action with an uncompromising and savage sound.

The Original and Groneveld mixes are winners on this release. Deep beats and techie chords sweep in while a funky bassline bubbles away as the hi-end ticks away nicely. Really clever melodic parts of this track make for an excellent groove.
LEE ORBOURNE - BLOW ME (Be Youself Music)
This peak time banger will have the floor on fire. Building and building up to the explosive halfway mark where the bassline develops into an evil rave sound that storms through the rest of the track with a serious attitude. Dynamite stuff.
DAYS OFF - THEY CAME FROM THE SUN EP (Stripped Recordings)
A total beauty, but the track 3-Day Weekend (Part 1) steals it for me. Such a warm, lovingly evolved tech sound that it's sure to have hands in the air and smiles on faces. Waves of techno goodness will lift you up and carry you higher than you've been before.
FRANCESCO PICO - THE CONFUSION GROWS (Manual Music)
From a label that hits the spot everytime, it's Daniel Mehes Melodic Wave Remix which adds 'that' Bladerunner sound and instant magic. Stick this one on at the beginning of your set and let the crowd know you mean business. Genius.
MR HO - BUMPS EP (Klasse Recordings)
Now, when it;s this good it has to be played. Strong house roots immersed in a funky groove and melodic old skool vibe. Stick it straight on to the pol On Remix.

QUENUM - Boomerang EP (Clapper)
Throw it and it comes back... This is a chunky, funky tech cut with an irresistible bass line that sticks in your head. Just Take It, on the flip side, is a seductively warm groove featuring vocals by Paris, who delivers a deep message begging to be heard. Simply genius.
JOHN SHIMA - Fader EP (Red Robot Records)
It's all gone sci-fi with this beautiful Detroit techno EP. The standout track, Archer, is a dreamy slice of a musical head honey, hypnotic chords release warm pads and shimmering sounds. Delightful.
GEHT'S NOCH - Chubby EP (Jack Union Records)
An electro track with big-booty bouncing base lines and catchy samples that hook and unleash a killer groove. Throw in a thumping kick drum to create serious damage on the largest of dance floors.
SASCHA MULLER - My Mother EP (Super 6)
This is one of the sickest techno tunes since Dave Clark's Red 5. You'll be booking your dancing trainers into the cobblers after the DJ drops this into the mix.

Check out MjsdropDub and the LVis1990 Remixes, both are excellent with booming bass lines and banging beats. Echoed vocals and unerving chords set a tone intensified by dripping acid lines and an old school vibe. A rude release.

The original EP has been doing the rounds for a few weeks now and this remix is full on funky house with a tribal vibe. Cashmere cuts it and intensifies the sound.
Mueller & Mitch - Careless /M92 Sternhauven (200 Records/Kompakt)
M92 opens with a crackling vinyl effect and hypnotic piano loop - filtered, phased and recursive. Powerful yet warm, it kick-builds as a soulful voice insists, "For everyman there is a woman," as hi-hats cleverly connect with a soft edged bleep to complete the score.
Scott Harrington & Greg Mak - Like Me, Lunacy Sound Division Remix (Cubism Records)
This has a big room groove as deep drums and more hi-hats blend with tribal percussion. A phat bass line and catchy vocal seductively mouthing, "Like me ," elevates it to breath-taking proportions. Deep, groovy and sexy.
Jason Chance - Head Shake (Nocturnal Groove)
Prime-time house guaranteed to be a floor filla. It does exactly what is says on the tin, with piano stabs and snappy percussion that will make your head shake.

The Legendary label R&S serve up a tasty slice of Techno, with chunky bass lines, tip tap percussion, squelching acid blips and epic strings. A rich and contemporary sound whilst still keeping it... old skool.

Moody deep dub chords set the atmosphere for snappy break beats to slide in. Chord pads work the melody and ethereal vocal rises. "Leifmotif" is perfect progressive material if your into sonic soundscapes, deep and hypnotic. Echoed chord patterns, disembodied vocal textures drift in waves of sound. Impressive.
